We are now in Week 3 of our “Worthy Now” series for this month.
If you are just jumping on board now, I invite you to be thinking about one or two words that will serve as your vision for 2023.
My words are WORTHY NOW.
With that in mind, ask yourself:
How would I treat my body differently if I believed I was WORTHY NOW?
As a leader, how often do you hear yourself saying things like:
“Of course, I will take that break”
“I have full intention of getting into some kind of exercise routine”
“I know I need more sleep”
“I know I need to drink more water.”
It is important that you start January 2023 off by asking yourself:
If I am already worthy, how would I be:
- Treating my body differently?
- Releasing my stress?
- Allowing myself to be calmer and more peaceful and feel more confident in my role as a leader?
Your homework is to pick one thing you can do to treat your body differently because you are WORTHY NOW.
For me, it is going to be getting back to my strength training. I’ve been getting on the elliptical machine for 20 or 30 minutes every morning but I’ve been neglecting my weights even though I know that strength training is very important as we age.
My invitation to you is to be thinking about what’s one thing you will do between now and next week that will be an action step to demonstrate that you are WORTHY ENOUGH to have the body, to have the release, to have the peace that you deserve because you are WORTHY NOW.
