Many of my clients feel like they push themselves so hard during the workweek that they are fried by the time the weekend rolls around.
Oftentimes, we turn to unhealthy physical habits to help us cope with these feelings of burnout. A couple of examples of these habits are:
- Zoning out on the couch right after dinner
- Eating too much of any (or all) of the 3 White Deaths (sugar, sodium, flour)
Sound like anyone you know?
If it does, then I invite you to:
- STOP and pause during your day (set an alarm if you need to)
- MAKE the decision to let go of the need to push yourself
- TAKE the health break
You know best which one is causing you the most pain or discomfort and you are the best judge of which one is getting in the way of you being a more successful leader.
When I say leader, I don’t just mean at work. These unhealthy physical habits affect our home life just as much as they do our work life, if not more.
I’d love to hear what you are choosing to let go of. Send me an email ([email protected]) and let me know which unhealthy physical habit you want to drop.
BE more kind to yourself.
BE more compassionate.
Be more forgiving.
Be more loving.
Remember, you are a Powerhouse.
Wishing you a powerful week.
